Installer
Cable installers will be responsible for activation of non-subscribers, changing of customer's service, converter placement (Digital & Analog), and system troubleshooting. The main job of the installer is to adjust services to the subscribers needs by performing any maintience nessesary from the utility pole to the back of the television set. Installer is expected to wire/re-wire outlets within the home, replace drop lines, ground, remove or place filters, while troubleshooting to insure proper reception. You must have strong customer service and record keeping skills, along with the ability to climb heights to 32 feet.
Modem Installer
Modem installers must be able to perform the tasks of an installer plus the ability to configure a cable modem to the subscriber's computer (provided it meets minimum requirements). Installers must have a good understanding of computer hardware and its related operating systems, along with the ability to educate the subscriber.
Auditor
Auditors check the customer's level of service at the utility pole or lockbox and verify the correct services are being recieved. If illegal hookups are found, service levels are corrected or disconnected. Auditors might be required to perform such tasks as tag, boot, greese, and/or terminate at the time of verifing services.
Direct Sales
Direct sales represenatives are responsible for subscriber aquisition, service upgrades, new service launches, and customer retention. Represenatives will trained on value-based sales to meet the needs of the potential subscriber rather than high presure sales techniques. Direct sales is the most effective way to educate people on the latest technology and convert them into paying subscribers for the customer. Good people skills and a genuine love to talk will be the greatest assests for job. Vehicle and license is required for local travel.
