There are two main functions of an audit when performed correctly, database verification and system cleanup. Badgerland technicians perform one of two audits depending on what the system wants.
Non-Subscriber, Database Clean-Up Audit: This audit "cleans" the cable provider's database, determining the connection status of all homes not subscribing to cable T.V. Badgerland provides a list of all illegal subscribers along with all additions and deletions to the database. When this audit is preformed in conjunction with Badgerland's direct sales, you are assured increased subscriber numbers.
Illegal connections found in the field are cross referenced with data base records and are then converted to a paying subscribers, if they are unwilling to pay they will be set for disconnection. Badgerland will collect all converters and equipment upon disconnection and return them to the system.
A non-subscriber audit is the easiest and most cost effective way to clean a system's database and increase subscriber numbers.
Homes Passed, System Clean Audit: adding on to the non-subscriber audit, this audit will include the passing of all homes in a system verifying account status. Badgerland while verifying every home will perform basic trap and termination inspections along with tagging. During a homes passed audit you can expect the following to be done:
- Correcting or Installing Traps
- Grease, Boot, and Replace Fittings
- Re-tagging all Data Base Errors
- Removing or Replacing Bad Drops
- Reporting Plant Problems
- Terminating Open or Live Ports
